He majored in Recording Studio Engineering and Jazz Guitar at Sacramento City College. Introduced to piano tuning through his mother's work with PianoDisc/Mason & Hamlin. In 2015, he enrolled in the Randy Potter School for Piano Technology to enhance his expertise in piano tuning and maintenance.
